Abstract

Physical activity and leisure sports along with tourism are certainly one of the social phenomena that have a direct impact on the economy of Spain. The sports sector behaves as an economic engine that is able to generate millions of euros in revenue and generate thousands of jobs. In this sense, the Journal of Sport Economics & Management offers the monographic where research related to Physical Activity and Sport Economics from different areas and viewpoints are included.
