Refereetrainer, app support for the physical preparation of football referee: feasibility study

Octavio Rivera-Romero, Cristian Naranjo-Marín

Abstract

Specific training programs for soccer referees are required in order to get an adequate fitness. Many mobile apps have been developed to track and manage training programs. In this paper, a viability study of an app for soccer referee is presented. A research mixed methodology involving a combination of techniques have been used. Although potential users have been very interested in this kind of apps, currently there is not a specific app for them.
